DR. AXEL H. SCHEUFELEN
Axel Scheufelen founded the French publishing house balconymedia in Paris and was the manager of the company until it was sold. Subsequently, he worked for the Finnish consultancy firm Jaakko Pöyry Management Consulting for three years, with a focus on: Strategy development and implementation, business development, organisational development, marketing and sales, crisis management and M&A. He then worked as managing director and head of the premium segment of the Papierfabrik Scheufelen for two years. By launching new products, identifying new sales channels and increasing the international orientation of the company, he expanded the premium segment by more than 20% in a stagnating market.
At the beginning of 2009, Axel Scheufelen joined REISNER + SCHEUFELEN as a partner. The focus of his consultancy work is on: Strategy development and implementation, business development, marketing and crisis management.
Axel Scheufelen studied Business Engineering at the Technical University Berlin and Business Studies (Master) at the ESCP-EAP in Paris. He was awarded his doctorate in the Faculty of Marketing at the TU Berlin, working with Professor Trommsdorff.
